Dedicated Home Theater
Smart Home Theater in a holiday home on Sifnos
In a holiday home on Sifnos, cinema has a space of its own. A 150-inch screen, 5.1 sound and KNX automation come together with an independent lounge for music and relaxation.
Our approach
A bigger picture. Effortless control.
The largest possible screen
The owner’s brief was clear: install the largest screen the room could accommodate. We fitted a 150-inch projection screen at the heart of this dedicated home theater. A 5.1 sound system completes the experience, giving film nights a special place in life at the holiday home.
Control that moves with you
KNX automation controls the spaces, with scenes that bring preferred settings together in a single selection. The system can be operated from an iPad, touch controls or a mobile phone.
The iPad can be easily removed from its wall dock and taken to an armchair, keeping control within reach throughout a film or an evening in the lounge. Wall-mounted touch controls provide direct access to the functions, while a smartphone offers another familiar way to manage the space.
A separate space for music
The lounge room has its own independent WiFi audio system. It offers a dedicated setting for listening to music, with playback also available from the user’s mobile phone.
The installation behind the experience
