Smart Security for a 3,500 m² Food Company

We installed extensive smart security systems in a 3,500 m² steel-framed building for a food import and distribution company. A hybrid alarm system and IP cameras cover the building and all outdoor areas, with mobile access for control and monitoring.

Large-scale protection. Everyday control.

A large site with several security needs.

The scale of the premises called for extensive coverage. We installed two systems with distinct roles: an alarm system for detecting incidents and cameras for visual monitoring. Both extend beyond the building to cover all outdoor areas of the business.

A hybrid alarm addressing more than intrusion.

The alarm combines wired and wireless equipment. Alongside intrusion protection, it includes flood protection and fire detection. This broadens its role to the early detection of water and fire incidents that could affect the premises, stock and equipment.

Control that fits the working day.

The alarm can be operated using a keypad, remote control or mobile app. This gives authorised users different ways to manage it according to where they are and what they need at the time.

Smart cameras that distinguish people and vehicles.

We installed IP network cameras with artificial intelligence (AI) technology capable of distinguishing people and vehicles in the image. This provides more useful information about activity in the monitored areas. It identifies object categories, rather than the identity of individual people.

The camera system can also be monitored and controlled through a mobile app, allowing users to view the premises without having to remain at a fixed screen.

Coverage throughout the premises and outdoors.

Both systems are extensive, reflecting the large area requiring coverage. The installation combines protection against different incidents with visual monitoring and straightforward control for the people responsible for the business.
