4,000 sqm central warehouse in Sofia

At a company’s central warehouse in Sofia, Bulgaria, covering 4,000 sqm with a height of 15 metres, we designed and installed the network infrastructure and security systems. The planned racking and aisle layout shaped the design, ensuring that every system supports the day-to-day operation of the space.

Our approach

Large scale. One coordinated design.

The design began with the aisles.

The planned positions of the storage racks formed the basis of our study. Network coverage and equipment locations were designed around the aisle layout and the demands of a high-bay warehouse.

The network behind every operation.

We installed wired data infrastructure and a wireless WiFi network to support business operations as well as the alarm and camera systems. The organised infrastructure connects the equipment and brings the cabling together in the central rack.

Intrusion, fire and water leak detection.

Fire and water leak detection were integrated into the smart wireless alarm system. A touch keypad, remote control and mobile app give authorised users several ways to manage the system.

Inside and outside, day and night.

The cameras monitor the interior and perimeter of the building, using AI to recognise people and vehicles. They support full-colour night images even in complete darkness, with the appropriate illumination provided by the installation. The project screenshots show actual night-time views of the outdoor areas.

The entrance, on the manager’s phone.

The video intercom allows entry by card or code, while an additional electric bolt lock strengthens door security. The cameras and video intercom share one mobile app. When a visitor rings the bell, an authorised user receives a notification, sees the visitor and can speak to them or unlock the door remotely via an internet connection.

The challenge of 15 metres.

Most of the cabling was installed on a low-current cable tray at a height of 15 metres. This demanding work used certified cables and heavy-duty protective conduits, with carefully planned routes and an organised installation.
