Dedicated Home Theater
American home theater
An American home theater in a third-floor apartment. Within a compact footprint, classic cinema styling meets immersive picture, surround sound and intuitive automation. A personal retreat for films and video games.
Our approach
A small room. A full cinema experience.
Cinema, within an apartment.
Neighbouring homes and the owner’s preference for high-volume listening made sound insulation a central priority. A multilayer construction combining different materials formed the foundation of the room.
A picture that draws you in. Sound all around.
An 8K laser projector is paired with a fixed 130-inch acoustically transparent screen. A custom ceiling mount supports the projector discreetly.
Dolby Atmos 7.2.4 surrounds the viewer with sound. Front speakers and subwoofers are concealed behind the screen, while two amplifiers with DSP drive the passive subwoofers.
Feel the scene.
Motorised seats incorporate tactile systems that respond to film and game effects. Main and decorative lighting adapt through programmed scenes, controlled from a wall-mounted touchscreen or the user’s phone.
Every detail has its place.
Audio equipment and source components sit within bespoke wooden cabinetry, with integrated ventilation and access to cabling for maintenance.
